We have had you, and it has gone like a flash. It has been a wonderful flash, but all to quick...much like the 2 years and 284 days we have had your sister. We are slower, calmer, less impatient because we have you. You changed us for the better, and I know you know how much we love you both.
We just came home from Montreal...we were gone for 3 days. When you woke this morning you hugged me with the tightest longest hug. With only a few words under your belt, this told me you love me back, and you missed me. What a feeling, what a moment that was...with your beautiful smell and soft sweet arms holding me with all your might.
It will be some time before we leave again...I can't wait for the feeling I had this morning to come to me again.
Soon it will be us three, every single day until you leave for school....June 1st can't come soon enough, but really...let's slow down and just enjoy each moment we have together.
